Life-Giving Educator

A learning/life platform based on wisdom tradition knowledge for both adults and children. It includes a series of courses for teachers and parents and is designed to align life with life by embodying the principles of nature.

In the courses, we learn the principles to becoming a Life Giving Educator through the embodiment of Healthy Rhythms, the Art of Storytelling, designing a Learning Space that cultivates imagination, inspiration and intuition, and the understanding of Energetic Signatures through Temperaments, as well as Human Design Types and Gene Keys.

LIFE GIVING EDUCATOR - A True Guide for our Children

Course 1: ART OF STORYTELLING – LIVING CONNECTED:

Learn the Art of Storytelling in the Living Connected Parent/Teacher Education Course. Ancient Wisdom traditions teach us the Art of Beingness. This is not an easy task in this world of Doingness. This course is a self-initiation with a map that points back to yourself at every step. Know Thyself. The most important work we can do for our Self and our children.

Course 2: TEMPERAMENTS AND TYPES – Based on Ancient Wisdom Traditions. Learn your child’s Energetic Signature and guide them in their strategy and authority.  It is essential to understand the programming and conditioning of the homogenized system to instead raise the children in consciousness. Raising sovereign children takes work and courage. In addition, it requires us to de-program and unschool ourselves. Using the system of Human Design and Gene Keys, we learn the children's energetic signature, strategy and authority. Supporting them in this way will allow them to flourish in their lives in this Now Moment whereas many of us adults are still overcoming our trauma and deprogramming from the system, these children can embrace their Power Now if guided in the correct way.

SETTING UP A LEARNING SPACE FOR THE CHILDREN – The next two courses are designed to support you in holding a dynamic, fluid learning space for the children in your care.

Course 3: HEALTHY RHYTHMS: This facet will explore all things Steiner/Waldorf. This will be an overview of the most important pillars of Waldorf Education in the classroom. We will review the daily and seasonal rhythms, the basic flow of a traditional class, childhood developmental stages and the potential healing nature of Waldorf Education.

Course 4: DESIGN A LEARNING WITH NATURE SPACE: A learning space is then constructed in the home or classroom. It is built on the foundation of Healthy Rhythms and the Art of Storytelling and Living Connected. This course includes an investigation into Project-based Learning, Independent Development Planning and the setting up of Creation Stations in the Classroom.

Waldorf Healthy Rhythms

I see this work that we are doing together as a quantum alignment for an optimum learning experience for all. In order to embody a quantum alignment we need to practice Healthy Rhythms which need to be established daily, seasonally, and annually.  What we take in through our environment is key and intentionally cultivating holistic (body/mind/spirit) nutrition will allow our nervous system and energy body to flow in optimum health which is essential at this time more than ever. Perhaps you have heard of coherency, heart coherency has been studied by many groups but specifically Heart Math. It has been discovered that our hearts have an intelligence and when awakened allows you to become the best version of you by attuning to the unified whole. Establishing good practices that support our holistic well-being is the key.  When practiced you can ensure a nourished, grounded and coherent space where we can come together and enjoy being together. Adequate sleep, food, healthy touch, appropriate sensory stimulation that works for everyone, technological moderation and familial well-being and nourishment will be the foundation upon which our group will thrive. Practicing and guiding our children in healthy rhythms is essential to our well-being and the well-being of our community.

Why We Need This Work Now

True education must flow as a living structure from person to person in a space that is conducive to giving and receiving in mutuality. It is more than a physical structure with rules, regulations, and agendas. It is a conversation between engaged listeners, each person a part owner of the conversation. We can do more when in alignment with each other as a unit of openness and unpredictability. Social and emotional intelligence is the new conversation. Showing up authentically, allowing flow and making space for each other is essential. Mindfulness, adaptability, emotional freedom… is difficult work. However, it is the work we need to do right now.

Systemic Dysfunction

The fact is that we have all been conditioned and programmed by something other than our true nature. From the beginning of our lives, the people closest to us see what they see and project what they see onto us (from all of their programming, going back generations). They are colored. In addition, we come here with our own colors or the things we are here to learn in this lifetime. We also have media distortions that have been a destructive force on our psyche. So, we never really get to know who we truly are. It is only when we start to listen to ourselves that we can begin to forge a path home to our Self. It takes much effort to re-write our Story, but truly there is nothing better that we can do with our lives because if we don’t start living our code, our truth, we will never be free. We will go on suffering and justifying it.

Are you ready to write a new story?

“Be the Change you Want to See in This World”

I think we can do this together!

“In reality there is a single integral community of the Earth that includes all its component members whether human or other than human. In this community every being has its own role to fulfill, its own dignity, its inner spontaneity. Every being has its own voice. Every being declares itself to the entire Universe. Every being enters into communion with other beings. This capacity for relatedness, for presence to other beings, for spontaneity in action, is a capacity possessed by every mode of being throughout the Universe.”

~ Thomas Berry

My view on the education system at large and why we need a quantum re-alignment

Collectively, we have overlooked the education system and the revamp it has needed for quite some time. It’s incredible that the collective conversation is more and more centered around body, mind and spirit health, but that conversation hasn’t reached many of our systems. My work is an attempt at redefining what it means to educate and the first step is to re-educate ourselves. Too many people have been indoctrinated into the all-consuming system that is eating us all alive and spitting us out as unhealthy and disease-ridden human doings. We need to rise up and take our power back and dive deep into a real education that is founded on connection, truth and authentic expression. Our creative potential is unlimited, however the distortions, programs and limitations that have been placed on humanity have created full blown dis-ease, dis-connection and dis-content. The indoctrination of a specific way of life that revolves around the game of money is destroying our race. We are an achievement-oriented culture that is successfully achieving a painful rip of consciousness. We need to get off the doing mentality and get on the being mentality. The intention of this learning platform is to provide a new path for education and fulfill our current needs and the needs of future generations.

Project Based Learning

This style of learning engages children in initiating, developing and completing projects of interest. Working both independently and in groups we choose interesting themes that we want to explore. The curriculum will organically grow out of the projects and the guide will follow the flow and bring the learning resources.

Learning how to listen to your children and following their interests, will provide the creativity to find interesting projects that the group or individual wants to explore.

Independent Development Plan, IDP

What we think, we are. Energy follows Our thoughts. Energy flows where attention goes. These catchy phrases encapsulate one of the greatest keys on earth. Our external reality matches our internal reality. Our ideas shape our lives. What we think about manifests and this is true for our children too. We need to know our expectations, intentions and agendas - especially for our children. We need to be deliberate in holding a space for our children. IDP’s will be created with the parents to set intentions for the child.

An IDP lists expectations and intentions for the child in the classroom. This supports the healthy flow of the time spent together. Being intentional paves the way to success.

As we prepare for the IDP -

please consider the following;

What is it that you want for your child in this life?

In their childhood?

In this time in their lives?

In this school year?

What are your expectations?

What would you like for them to receive from this group learning process?

If your child can contribute to a group, share their experiences and expressions, find contentment, and expanded awareness would that be satisfactory?

Human Design/Gene Keys - Know Thyself

I have mentioned Human Design to all of you so here is a little more information about the system.  What is Human Design? It's a logical system that brings together principles of The I Ching, astrology, Kabbalah, Hindu-Brahmin chakra system, and quantum physics. Your Human Design Chart, also called a BodyGraph, is calculated using your birth date, time, and place, to reveal your genetic design.

Human Design says we are simply here to have an experience. It gives insight into what brings us into peace, satisfaction, success, or surprise. We can experiment with this technology and notice how it works for us. I will explain more about this after I read each child’s chart and we will work with this over time.

When we are comfortable and relaxed in our being-ness our innate desires bubble up and we move in the direction that brings us contentment.

Learning comes from a desire to participate, as such coercion is seldom applied. We must be free in our movements, so long as we are not harming anyone.

“Absolute freedom does not exist; what does exist is the freedom to choose anything you like and then commit yourself to that decision.” Paulo Coelho

Healing: Alignment with Nature

Our health is in our hands. Our life is in our hands. We need our Self now more than ever. We must get back to nature. We must get back to our True Nature. Use these keys to unlock your potential. We are physical, mental/emotional and spiritual beings and as such we must be present to each of these spaces in our being. When we hold a space for all of ourselves we can attain a level of witness and this freedom creates a spaciousness in the heart. We then have the possibility to fulfill our full potential. Our complete alignment. Living Connected. You are the Key.

How to get started!

Fill out the form below - I will reach out to find a time to meet

Course 1: Art of Storytelling - Living Connected

Learn the Art of Storytelling in my Living Connected Parenting Education Course. Ancient Wisdom traditions teach us the Art of Beingness. This is not an easy task in this world of Doingness. This course is a self-initiation with a map that points back to yourself at every step. Know Thyself. The most important work we can do for our Self and our children.

Art of Being is imbuing all of our Doings with Beingness: intentionality over agenda; presence, purpose, and meaning; and letting go for deep release. Keys to Life. In setting a space with these values in mind and heart, we have the opportunity to tap into our unlimited potential. When groups come together in this way there is no limit to what we can create.

This course provides a self-study path through seven universal keys:

Seven Universal Keys to Become a Life Giving Educator (A Self-Initiation)

Cultivate imagination, intuition and inspiration

Universal Key 1: Activate Your Roots through establishing a strong foundation to uncover a deeper sense of belonging, which gives rise to clear boundaries, personal values, and an operating system that ultimately creates inner peace. This allows us to manifest in harmony with nature.

Universal Key 2: Let go and Flow. Accept each moment and deal with it fully and then let go. Heal our ancestral and karmic wounds. Rites of Passage initiations, creativity, emotions and relationships are explored here.

Universal Key 3: The Transformative Power of the Inner Sun Awakens your Authentic Power. Through Movement, Self-directed Action and Meditation we begin to transform the Me to a WE.

Universal Key 4: Accessing Peace through Presence we stand in our heart with everything. Holding space - Learn how to listen without judgement - acceptance, understanding, compassion are the ingredients needed. We explore Chakras and internal practices. A Return to Innocence is possible.

Universal Key 5: Speak truth from a clear creative center. Awaken comprehension and discernment through understanding and clear perception. Conscious Creation.

Universal Key 6: Re-education of the Self awakens insight into the truth of the oneness in everything that looks two-sided. Right to See.

Universal Key 7: Core Alignment to Nature. Everything is connected – if I harm you, I am harmed. Devotion to creation is essential. Create a new story through the Art of Storytelling.

Course 2: Temperaments and Types

Based on Ancient Wisdom Traditions. Teaching the children their energetic signature, strategy and authority will allow them to flourish in their lives in this Now Moment whereas many of us adults are still overcoming our trauma and deprogramming from the system, these children can embrace their Power Now if guided by a True Guide.

Children are perfect and whole within their self. The wisdom traditions know and teach this. All that we need to do is to create a loving and safe environment for them to enjoy life, learn and grow. There are no prescriptions needed. Each child is met where they are with a Guide that knows their Self. The initiation has already been done. We just need to nourish, uplift, empower and inspire. Help children connect and communicate with clarity in celebration.

Love molecule- create more connections and purify the impurities with love

No need to look at something and judge it. Let it be and be free.

What is needed is clear communication about boundaries. Agreements.

Teach people how to respect you and your space, while allowing openness and flow.

Very important to use natural resources and teach children how to love and take care of the earth and all of her creatures.

How to respect and care for the body every day.

Emotions - what are they and how do we work with them

Rites of passages – initiations

Conscious Sexuality

Teacher/Parent Enrichment Program:

Building a Healthy Foundation

Self-Development Training and Mentoring Program for Teachers and Parents

The importance of Self-Study/Self-development

This is one of the most important aspects of what distinguishes a connected vs. disconnected (stressed vs. less-stressed) teacher or person for that matter. It is essential to become a true guide and listen to the children. If the teacher is not in rhythm the children will not be in rhythm. Through self-development the teachers learn the art of nourishing. When the teachers establish an inner nourishing standard the students will be in the presence of a good example and will receive nourishment. This program can be tailored to parents as well. This program is designed to support each individual in doing their own inner work and take responsibility for their self in order to create a connected and harmonious existence for everyone.

Steiner says, ““Where is the book in which the teacher can read about what teaching is? The children themselves are this book. We should not learn to teach out of any book other than the one lying open before us and consisting of the children themselves.”

It’s not easy to listen to the book of each child. We want them to be in our book. We want the book to look, act and feel a certain way. We as adults, parents and educators need to continuously work on our own self-development so that we can know our own books and in knowing our self, then truly we can speak and live in truth for our children.

School is a tricky program to work within, even as a Waldorf School. It is asking each teacher to become a self-initiated individual that knows how to guide, inspire and empower rather than guilt, control or force. We are moving from old paradigm into new paradigm. Shadows are coming out and they are age old patterns that harm rather than take care; put down rather than uplift. These patterns start at home and school and restrict and inhibit our flow. We are moving away from the control, shame, manipulate, authoritarian model to the cooperative, consensus, flow based, non-violent communication model. We are learning how to heal ourselves so that we may bring true education and consensus-based learning into and out of the classroom. We as teachers and parents must be willing to know and develop ourselves so that we can create safe containers for children to learn. Self-development is the most important thing we can do for our world right now. If we are creating inner walls that obstruct the flow or destroying parts of ourselves how can we ever learn how to be in a good, healthy relationships or be a good teacher. Accepting ourselves and each other is essential.  It’s not easy to be a part of a community in a healthful way in the classroom and out of the classroom. It is up to each one of us to uplift and empower each other and inspire a way forward.

The children know how to flow and let go. They forgive and forget. They move forward. They love easily and naturally. Children also reflect the adults around them. They show us where we need to see more or go deeper. They are helping us to heal and move forward into the future. We need to listen to them more. They are filled with creativity and if given support and guidance they cooperate and harmonize.

Teachers need education too. Most teachers need better classroom management skills. A lot of teachers are great at teaching subject matter, but more than half of teaching is managing the classroom. Children are different today than ever before and we need to listen to what they are saying to us.

The following are some of what will be covered in the Teacher Enrichment Program.

Difficulty of being a Teacher – how important it is to be supported

Self-reflection is essential for true success

Importance of not creating boxes or labels for children.

Seeing the children fresh every day and allowing them to grow and change.

When we are reacting to the children it is up to us to see why we are reacting and how to correct – we might need help in this process and it’s essential to do what it takes to get it.

Speech - Voice inflection

Physical health – movement is essential. Eurythmy, Yoga, Tai Chi, Chi-gong, Exercise, Spatial Dynamics, Bothmer Gymnastics,

Being conscious - the younger children imitate you

How you move sets up the learning space and creates safety or not

Environmental design of a space

Mindfulness The art of self-care: Sleep, reflection, creating your own rhythm

Fostering a mood of inner quiet

Cultivating Inspiration, Intuition, Imagination

Education Renewal

This is the biggest focus right now at Antioch University. It is said by my colleagues that Steiner said that if Waldorf isn’t renewed for the current time period, in 100 years there will be no Waldorf Schools. Given my background in the healing arts and wisdom traditions, Antioch training and direct experience in Montessori and Waldorf classrooms, I conclude that there are some key ingredients missing in the current education structure (even the alternative ones such as Waldorf and Montessori). One is the lack of self-awareness of the teachers. Self-development is not easy work and takes understanding, effort and a community of support. The second is that education needs an overhaul to update for the current time period. I have created this program to support the bridging into the New Reality that is upon us.

We are moving from the old world to the new world, and education is the cornerstone. All education systems need to be updated and reconfigured to the current time period. Our children are on an entirely different future projection than we were. Schools and our education models need to update. Social and emotional intelligence is the new work. We must learn a Unity model in the classrooms. Waldorf as a whole wants each child to fulfill their divine purpose here on earth and no longer can that purpose exist in a vacuum. We are all connected and need to learn how to work together and truly listen to each other’s perspectives if we want to create harmony. The Waldorf classroom is the stage to unfold the design of this new world. Learning Playgrounds exists to support each human being in discovering ways to thrive together and fulfill our divine purpose as a collective species united with Nature in order to create sustainable communities living in harmony.

Mindfulness

Consensus based learning

Conflict Resolution Skills

Mixed age levels

Independent and group learning

Creating space for everyone – not everyone on every day is able to participate in all activities

Setting up the Space / a healthy environment

Balance between structure and flow – a program is good as long as it lives and breathes, allowing a fluid and dynamic balance between structure and flow.

Creativity, spontaneity, flexibility, connectedness, collaboration are key.

Learn Elements of Flow.

Connection Circles – the power of Unity.

The first hour is the time to bring students together and set intention and mood of the day.

The intent is to create a classroom space that is a miniature society where they care for one another like a family. This will create a school spirit that fosters warmth and creativity and will balance the natural tensions that arise throughout the day, ultimately allowing a space that supports each child’s development of their full potential.

Conscious Communication: Communication skills such as learning how to listen, how to express one’s needs clearly, how to respect each other, and how to read body language. The goal is to defuse aggression and bring about better mutual understanding.

Role Playing - Role-playing games allow us to try on different behaviors to see how they feel. We must educate our children in the laws of behavior in order to create a world that we can all live in together. When we see the roles being played out we foster understanding, connection, cooperation which paves the way to higher sensations of tranquility, peace, and fulfillment.

THINK before you speak. Is it True. Is it Helpful. Is it Inspired. Is in Necessary. Is it Kind

Media consumption: The media are probably the most powerful tools in shaping our minds and determining our values. Wise consumption of media can reduce aggressive tendencies, encourage prosocial behavior, and provide essential information and understanding of the world and one’s life. The media include not only TV and radio, but also the internet, primarily social networks, newspapers, and movies.
